Care Instructions:

• Placement: Position the stand on a flat, stable surface near your bath, shower, or sink or board-storage area. Place the mat or board vertically into the stand after use.
• Drying: Ensure that the board is rinsed and excess water removed before standing it in the stand — this helps the diatomaceous earth work effectively.
• Cleaning the Stand: Wipe the stand with a soft damp cloth periodically to remove dust or food residue. Do not subject the stand to heavy soaking or dishwasher cycles.
• Refresh Material: If the stand’s surface appears dull or less absorbent, allow it to air-dry fully in a well-ventilated area or light sunlight (but avoid direct intense heat) to regenerate the porous structure.
• Avoid Impact: Although robust, diatomaceous earth can chip or crack if dropped — handle with care.
• Storage: If the stand is not in use for prolonged periods, ensure it is completely dry and store in a cool, dry spot.
