A donabe rice pot that is hard to heat and hard to cool is ideal for cooking rice.
The round shape and the far infrared rays emitted from the pottery will cook the rice deliciously. Lines are marked inside the pot to indicate the appropriate water level for fluffy, delicious rice every time. When cooking for 5 cook on medium heat for about 17 minutes, then turn off the heat and let it boil for 20 minutes.
You can also use the microwave oven for warming should you need to.
This rice pot cannot be used with IH cookers.
As with earthenware pots, you can use far-infrared rays to cook delicious dishes like hot pots, soups, and stews.
Although it comes with an instructions booklet the Misuzu toki website introduces recipes that use rice pots as well as recipes by rice sommelier Kaoru Akimoto so please visit http://www.misuzu-c.com
