Maruyama Fitness Towel - Natural Charcoal

Lightweight, highly absorbent and beautifully soft, the Maruyama Fitness Towel in Natural Charcoal combines traditional Japanese textile craftsmanship with the naturally functional qualities of Binchotan charcoal.

Made in Nara, Japan, its lightweight, breathable weave absorbs moisture efficiently while drying quickly between uses. The long, narrow proportions sit comfortably around the neck during exercise, while its compact construction takes up very little space in a gym, hiking or travel bag.

The towel incorporates finely processed Binchotan, Japan’s celebrated white charcoal, into the textile. Traditionally produced through an exacting high-temperature firing process, Binchotan has been valued in Japan for centuries for its natural purifying and deodorising qualities. Its inclusion is particularly well suited to an active-use towel, helping naturally neutralise unwanted odours without relying on conventional chemical treatments.

Ideal for the gym, yoga and Pilates, running, hiking, cycling, travel and outdoor pursuits, the towel becomes increasingly soft and supple through washing and continued use.

Care: Wash before first use to encourage softness and absorbency. Hand or machine wash using a mild detergent. Avoid bleach and fabric softener, which may affect the natural fibres and absorbency. Reshape after washing and allow to air dry naturally. Some shrinkage and softening with continued washing are natural characteristics of the textile.
