Crafted by Wakasa craftsmen this premium chopstick gift set contains two pairs of wooden chopsticks with a gold/black and a gold/red pair respectively, two beautiful "Nishiki Goi", or Koi Carp, ceramic rests elegantly packaged in a paulownia wooden box. A beautiful gift for yourself, or a loved one.
Nishikigoi, meaning "brocaded carp" in Japanese, refers to a specific type of ornamental carp - the Koi Carp - that have been selectively bred for their colorful patterns and vibrant colors. These fish are highly valued in Japan for their beauty and are often kept in garden ponds or water gardens as a symbol of good luck, prosperity, and good fortune
Both chopsticks are 23cm.
Made by Kawai in Obama city, Fukui prefecture founded in 1943.
Hand washing is recommended for the rests and chopsticks.
