The Chambre de D KYOTO Gauze Kirikae Pants by Daitou Shingu blend traditional Japanese textile craftsmanship with modern, effortless styling. Designed under Chambre de D KYOTO, these pants are crafted for elevated home wear that balances comfort and quiet sophistication.
Made using their signature "Wazarashi Method" processed cotton gauze, the fabric retains the natural integrity of the cotton fibres, resulting in exceptional softness, breathability, and gentle loft. The multi-layer gauze construction creates subtle air pockets that provide light warmth while allowing air to circulate freely - ideal for year-round wear.
“Kirikae” refers to the thoughtful panel-switching design, which introduces subtle structure and visual interest while maintaining a relaxed silhouette. The gauze drapes beautifully, falling naturally along the body for an elegant yet comfortable fit.
Soft and airy against the skin, the fabric feels light and enveloping - almost like being wrapped in a soft cloud. With every wash, the cotton gauze becomes even softer, enhancing its lived-in comfort.
Garment-washed to enhance softness, the fabric develops a relaxed drape and subtle texture that embodies understated elegance.

Care Instructions:
To preserve the softness and natural texture of your gauze pants:
- Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle
- Wash separately or with similar colours
- Use mild detergent
- Do not bleach
- Tumble dry on low or hang to dry
- Avoid high heat, which may cause shrinkage
- Light ironing on low if desired (wrinkles are part of the fabric’s natural character)
With proper care, the fabric will continue to soften beautifully over time.

We use a selection of reputable national courier companies for deliveries, depending on the delivery address. Your parcel should arrive within 3-5 working days of receipt of the order or POP, if an EFT. Rural delivery may take a little bit longer. We will always advise if there is an expected delay.

All delivery costs for products delivered within South Africa are based on a flat rate fee, if under R1250 in retail value. R105 for within Cape Town and R120 for National. We also offer a Collection option which is free of charge.
