The Higonokami Mitsuosaku Medium Friction Folder is an authentic, hand-forged Japanese pocket knife crafted by the historic Nagao Kanekoma Factory. It features a legendary 3.0mm Aogami (Blue Paper Steel) carbon core laminated using the traditional Warikomi method, delivering an incredibly sharp, double-bevel edge with exceptional wear resistance.
The blade is housed in a classic 100mm handle that develops a beautiful, unique patina over time. Utilizing a timeless, mechanical-free friction design, it opens via a traditional lever tab held in place by thumb pressure. This compact, ambidextrous tool is perfect for everyday carry and precision crafting, requiring only basic dry care and oiling to protect its premium carbon steel.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Wash knife immediately after use with water. Dry the surface of the knife by pouring hot water of it and wipe this off with a tissue. Apply oil and then wipe off the oil with a tissue. Put the knife in to a dry storage space. If you leave the knife wet or with food on it, it will rust.
If rust appears please use our rust eraser to bring it back to it's original state.
