KURO-Bō 8L Binchotan Water Filter Dispenser

We can’t drink our tap water where we live, so we’ve always had one of those sad plastic water dispensers living on the counter. You know the one - bulky, ugly, and permanently in the way… but necessary.

I bought the KURO-Bō 8L Binchotan Water Filter Dispenser hoping to make the setup feel a little less “survival mode” and more intentional, and honestly, it changed the whole feel of the kitchen.

First: it’s beautiful. It looks like it belongs in the space instead of something we’re tolerating.

Second: the water tastes clean without tasting stripped, just easy drinking water. Tea and coffee are noticeably better.

What I really appreciate is the simplicity:
• no electricity
• no cartridge subscriptions
• just rinse the charcoal and occasionally boil it to refresh
• gravity does the work

It filters slowly, so this isn’t instant-gratification water, but that actually suits our rhythm. We fill it once and always have good water ready.

Functionally it replaced the plastic dispenser. Practically it upgraded the whole kitchen.

One of those rare purchases that solves a problem and makes the space nicer to live in.

Both are of excellent quality and the water tastes soft and clean. Beautiful water quality.
