From Green Life, the same brand that produces our Japanese Good Design Award Winning "Outdoor Grill", this is another extremely portable, contemporary and design-focused tabletop grill, available in Blue and Red.
With a 15cm height profile, when placed on a table, the grilling surface is low allowing easy and convenient cooking. The compact metal shichirin can also be safely used on any tabletop due to the insulated build, raised legs and heat-shielding plate.
The internal charcoal plate can also be removed making cleaning simple and easy (please note care instructions below), and the two ergonomically-designed handles ensure easy transportation from counter to table, or car to beach.
Combined with using Binchotan Charcoal (African or Japanese), this Shichirin will hold its heat for much longer than with regular charcoal, along with the added benefits of no smoke or smell. To light, use a Starter Pan, and once you have finished grilling, simply remove the binchotan and extinguish using water or an extinguishing pot for future use.
The Shichirin can be used outdoors using either binchotan or regular charcoal, or indoors using binchotan charcoal and sufficient ventilation.
Available in Blue and Red.
Main body is made of Steel and the inner charcoal plate of Iron.
Green Life's goal is to make Hibachi Grilling more accessible, both functionally (light-weight) and financially, compared to their more traditional handmade diatomite clay Konro conterparts. These grills are still made in Japan, paying homage to the authentic hibachi dining expereince and delivering on Japanese quality expectations.

Care Instructions:
When using for the first time:
When using the mesh for the first time, wash it thoroughly with water, dry it, and then apply cooking oil to it before use. In rare cases, the plating may deteriorate and turn white due to heat. If this occurs, remove the whitening with a nylon scrubbing pad or kitchen sponge, rinse with water, and apply cooking oil before use. The plating used complies with the Food Sanitation Act, so it will not affect the human body even if it is accidentally put in the mouth.
After use:
Since the juices from cooking meat, fish or vegetables will fall onto the ashes on the charcoal plate, it is better not to wash the plate with water after use, but to leave the ashes in place, so that the juices will not come into direct contact with the iron plate and it will last longe. If you wash the iron plate with water, wipe off the moisture thoroughly and apply oil before storing. The main parts are mainly made of steel, so be careful not to cut your hands when cleaning or maintaining it after use.
Charcoal will burn out if left as is, but if it is reusable Binchotan Charcoal and you plan to use it multiple times, it is more economical to use 2-in-1 Extinguisher, an Extinguishing Pot or simply dip the Binchotan in water and dry.
Caution:
Because various parts are made of steel, be careful setting-up and handling the grill and edges can be sharp. Please only use charcoal or charcoal briquettes as fuel. Do not use on uneven or uneven ground as it may cause danger of falling over. Do not leave the Shichirin unattended while in use. Do not place flammable materials around the Shichirin while in use. Sparks may fly and cause a fire. Do not move the Shichirin while it is in use. The main body and mesh will be hot during use and immediately after use, so do not touch them with your hands until cooled. Do not use in a closed room as it may cause carbon monoxide poisoning. When using indoors, be careful of ventilation and fire caused by sparks. Using under a range hood (exhaust fan) will allow smoke to escape and ventilation to occur.
